My man and I were on the phone awhile back and we both said
"I LOVE YOU" at the exact same time, so he told me " pinch poke you owe me a coke"..what is he talking about?

I always heard it as "jinx-ies, buy me a coke"..it's just an old superstitious thing, when you say the same thing together. No big deal. (He sounds sweet!)

Did you not think to ask him? It's like that "jinx - you owe me a coke". It's just a bit of silliness to indicate two people said the same thing at the same time.

"My man"- I hate that phrase. Now that you've said I love you, does he get a promotion to boyfriend or something?
