The second men learn to leave it down :-)

I have always thought this whole issue is a load of crap. If a person is old enough to use the toilet by themselves, they should know whether they need the seat up or down. Personally, I think the thing should be closed when not in use.

Too many women hold their urine to the last possible moment before heading to the lavatory. They flee across the house cross legged trying to make it to the toilet. They end up in such a hurry they don't bother to look and see what position the seat. Common sense would tell you it's their own fault if they hit the cold rim or water, but why should woman accept the blame for her own shortcomings when there's a man around to blame? Come on ladies. We put the seat up for you already so that we don't "miss" and leave you with a wet seat. What's the big deal with you putting it down before you use it? At least it's dry.

Closing the lid when not in use not only keeps the critters and small children from playing in the bowl, but people who use the toilet have to put the seat in the desired position for use every time. I don't know if this would stop the age old practice of women waiting till they can't hold it any more, but if this was the "unwritten code" they'd only have themselves to blame if they pee'd on the lid.

I have no decision interior the difficulty different than strengthen the seat up using fact if I dont then the lads dont and that i could wipe the seat in the previous I take a seat. The lavatories are large adequate so there should not be any rationalization for lacking yet they do and its me that has to freshen up after them and the girls at artwork say an identical why cant men objective correct as a replace of it going everywhere.

I don't know about you but my toilet has a lid on it too so therefore to put that down it is necessary to have the seat down also. Personally as a female I would prefer to walk in to the room and not be faced with having to look at what the person in there before me has done. Do love your pic though!

ha ha ha ha ha, I do. Seriously, Ok I don't worry so much during the day and I can't say I always think of it but last thing at night I try and make sure the toilet seat is up because I know my husband will go to the toilet in the night and I don't very often. Even if I do I know how to work the toilet seat, if I want it down, I can put it down myself.

I live in a house where I am outnumbered three to one by the male of the species and I get asked this question on a daily basis.
I want to know why your kind can't put the seat down, if only to stop the dog from drinking out of the toilet bowl.....

I ALWAYS put the toilet seat back up.

If I don't, I find dribbles of men's p*ss on it when I next want to use it. Some of you guys are too lazy to even lift the seat when you want to take a p*ss.

Ugh.

Always put it back up, ladies - much more hygienic.

when men realize that its far more important for it to be down than up the better off we'll be...ok i'll tell ya why, lets say your busting for the toilet, i mean crossed legs hopping down the hall busting...you finally burst into the toilet, now at this point as a man you don't need to think about the toilet seat whether its up or not, you can pee, AAAAHHHHHHH...now us girls on the other hand can not, we burst in spin around drop our undies and slam down on that seat in hopes of not peeing our pants, so if the seat is up, OMG, its eeewww..and if we have to take the extra time to put it down then we pee ourselves...understand??

Great Remark!!!
Why should women expect men to put the toilet seat down, we have equality don't we? Okay then, let's have for one week men put the toilet seat down and for the next week, women put the toilet seat down and whoever does not comply, goes to jail or makes wild love to the other...that is fair isn't it???

I don't ask for it to be put down so I'm not gonna put it up.I am capable of doing for myself and I think that it is time for people to just get over it.It's a freakin toilet seat for heavens sake.Nobody wants to touch it but you're gonna have to deal with it.That's what they make soap & water for.
