I hope most Americans realize we are not at war with the Muslim religion, but instead we are at war with terrorists. Although many of the terrorists are Muslim, a vast majority of Muslims are not terrorists. This land was based on the freedom of religion, our forefather's fought to protect us from religious persecution. To subject any group of people to what you describe would be against our right to religious freedom, and would be bad for all Americans.

I am American and in no way should something like this ever happen! I know that with the way things are going, many Americans are portrayed to hate Muslims but I really don't want to think that the majority could ever be so evil. Sadly, I think the majority are just hapless sheep going about their lives and unfortunately make bad choices at the polls (GWB for example). Maybe because I watch Al-Jazeera news I have a more informed view on the Muslim world, I know the evils of Israel and somehow relate to the struggles going on over there. Still, the same way I know that Wahhabi interpreted Islam is not the mainstream practice, so to do I know most U.S. citizens would not tolerate such Nazi-like tactics. At least, I hope not!

The pagan Arabs worshiped the moon god by praying toward mecca several times running around the Temple of the moon god called the Kaaba killing an animal in sacrifice to the moon god throwing stones at the fasting for the month which begging and end with the crescent moon giving alms to the poor. The muslin's claim that allah is the God of the Bible and that islam arose the religion of prophet and apostles refuted by solid, overwhelming archaeological evidence. Islam is nothing more than a reveal of the ancient moon god cult. It has taken the symbols, the rites, the ceremonies, and even the name of its god from the ancient pagan religion of the moon god. It is sheer ideology and must be rejected by all those who follow the Torah and Gospel.

I have nothing against the majority of Muslims in this world and have no desire to see their rights infringed on. I do have a big problem with anyone, Muslim or not, who hates Americans and other nations enough to commit atrocities like 9/11, the London subway bombing, etc... I must admit that, when it comes to flying, I am not opposed to additional scrutiny of people who appear to be Middle Eastern. I feel a little bit guilty about feeling that way, but it's a reality that there are Middle Eastern groups out there who target my country, and to pretend that there isn't would be naive and dangerous.

As an American I can only answer for myself. No I do not want anyone to have to mark themselves in any way. Muslim or not. A person's faith is personal and is not subjective to scrutiny. As for relocation camps, we proved that doesn't work already. Remember a little conflict called WWII? I do not hate muslims nor am I going to hate them. That shows fear and ignorance. There are good and bad in all sections of our world and people are just people.

America is a congregation of numerous groups. Many ethnic groups; many spiritual groups; many cultural groups; many strange other groups. America does not have the identity of it's own derived through tradition and long standing values generated through ages, through trial and error, through deep spiritual thought, formulating an identity. Only the name America is what is possessed which has in the past about 50 years or so bound all Americans, only to that name. This is the reason why it is difficult for America to perceive and understand cultures of the world of the ancient flowing into the present civilizations, which have stood the test of time and survived. Only time will tell America that it ought to have at least an infinitismal respect for TRADITION of independent nations; culture; and their way of life derived over centuries.

Few, if any Americans want anyone of any religion to be identified by passport or tattoo. We opposed and defeated the German Nazis who imprisoned, tattooed, and murdered on the basis of ethnic, religious, cultural, national, economic differences.

I don't think Americans hate Muslims; we do hate mad bombers and we despise people who would kill because they don't like a cartoon. I don't think Muslims do that; some of the ignorant people who do that happen to identify with the teachings of Allah.

Tina is right and so are the others, i think if we reversed the issue, Muslims won't hate us that much...what if americans went to blow up a mosque for them before 9/11, i don't that they will hate all of us...they will think or say just like Tina...the last opinion, you're totally wrong with all of my respect
