This poor kid has only been home a week after years of god knows what and his parents march him out on to national TV and announce that they think he was molested and that he is mentally broken which was against all the advice they were given to not do this kind of thing. Way to support your kid in getting back into society. Shouldn't they be at home providing a warm family environment, comforting him and protecting him from the media? Way to comfort your child folks! Right now this kid needs them more than anything and they put his face on national TV and tell the world he was sexually abused and is a broken person. How much money do you think they got paid by Oprah to do this to their kid?

they were already on tv, today show...etc. why oprah? harpo works very hard to be the first with these things and she can't stand child abuse and predators. i didn't watch the show completely, but i think you have to look at the positive story that they were trying to convey...a story about how to keep our children safe and a story of survival. and hopefully, they got the support and approval of any and all therapists involved. probably since the beginning was of him and his family, alone, no audience. and it appears he stayed off stage at the show and did not speak.

also, i know someone who works at harpo, i don't think they pay people to come on.

Its unlike he not at all went out look on the piercings he has and so on. He has been out of the homestead in the final 4 years there have been youthful young ones who got here upon there way homestead i understand hes been via plenty yet, i think of there is so plenty greater to the tale. I purely desire seeing the tale helps yet another kinfolk.

I agree completely. The whole thing is disturbing. I don't think they got paid, but I don't think that's what they were going for by allowing their child to be exploited in this way. They're obviously sick people. Glad to see I wasn't the only one completely appalled by the behavior of Oprah & parents.

what i think is funny, the dad says he thiinks the son was sexually abused because he is not the say boy that left them 4 years ago. well what does he expect? you get pulled from your home and forced to live another life for 4 years, then placed back into the originall home where everything has changed. of course he is not going to be the same boy. all these talk shows and public apperences are going to do nothing but clout the boys memory and confuse him more. i think they should have stayed private and let their son heal and get on with his life. he is already going to carry this stigma around with him for the rest of his life.

If they didn't get paid, they did it for the notoriety, which is sick, because they chose a few minutes of fame over their child's best interests.
