I know that you know that the President is limited to two terms, something that should also apply to Congress!! But in your hypothetical, the anser is "yes" Why. because he is the only guy it seems in the country who understands that by trying to establish a "democracy" i Iraq (albeit hard to do) it will ; 1. create a country taht does not take action against others (democracies usually don't attack others) 2. Hdlp to de-stabilize Iran whose people are all ready rumbling about change in their fundelmentalist muslim tyrants, and 3. add another coutnry that isn't interested in destroying Isreal thereby creating WWIII.

Historically, the best presidents have had low approvals ratings because they did what they thought is necessary, not what is popular. Lincoln had a low rating as did Truman. FDR campaigned in 1940 promising to keep us out of WWII, but he knew we HAD to be involved. Anyway remember one thing, "people are generally stupid", Individuals are smart. By that I mean, just to joing a group of people who hate a President without really thinking about consequences, with an historical perspective and a somewhat understanding of the world, are just "kool aide" drinkers. People who read, watch, learn and think for themselves are the one's whose opinion matters, not the ones who watch American Idol and Survivor shows.

It makes no difference. It how the votes are counted. I think some where in the next two years bush will change the laws and you will get to vote for the third term.

You can't vote for Bush because he can't run again. 2 term max. for the Presidency. Looks like someone should have stayed awake during economics and government.

GW Bush can't run for another term. Presidents are only in office for 8 years at the most. Then they have to let someone else be President. However, after that he can run again but usually they don't because of age.......

GW is termed out as President, but brother Jeb might make a run for it.

Then I think we've run out of Bushes and we'll have to settle for shrubs.

I didn't vote for him in the first place and no I would never vote for anyone that has no concern for the American people. He's all about control and nothing more.

US presidents can only hold office for 2 terms, 8 years total. So, you see, you don't have to worry about this choice.
