If they were the right candidate, then why would it matter. Religion is trivial and does not belong in the world of politics to begin with. Someone stating that they are satanist is just as bad as someone being a fundamentalist christian. Either way, it would get really old, really fast. People who choose politicians based on a religious bias are just not the type of people that should even vote.

Yes, if I think he/she would make a good president. I don't vote for/against people because of their faith. I vote according to the candidate's ability and where they stand on the issues I know a couple Satanists, they're not the evil people that some make them out to be.

Just as much as I would hold it against anyone who felt the need to bring their religion into a political discussion!!!!!! They were said to be separate for a reason!

I believe that i will vote for the person that i feel is best qualified for the job regardless of sex, melanin content of the skin, creed, heritage, and certainly not based on the professed religion.
Unfortunately, there are still a great number of bigots in this nation.

Yes. Hell, yes. If I wanted to elect whackos, I'd have supported Lyndon LaRouche.

I've met enough Christians in my life to make me think that would be a plus.

He/She would have no chance in winning. Not that I would hold it against them but because they would not have the same values I wouldnt vote for him/her.
