dont know about the heart rate but the body temp depends on whether its basking or not, as they are cold blooded they will be the same temp as the area they arein, a BD body temp can get upto 115-120 F when basking ib the sun, but it could be as low as 70 F at night when its sleeping.

Hi there - what a lovely surprise someone finally showing an interest in us Bearded Dragons.

I am a 231 year old Beardie Dragon and I live in the sewage system under Southend on Sea. Poohey - you humans pooh really has started to smell over the last 45 years.

Any how, I have a pulse rate of 23 at rest. This is because I am quite large as you know. I actually weigh approximately 75 joojons which in your human terms is about the size of a humpback whale.

My respiratory rate is approximately 5 breaths per minute. One doesn't tend to breath too often when you live in a sewer.

My body temperature is low but I am not actually sure because my thermometer ( which I found in a lump of pooh in the sewer) was lost about 7 years ago when I accidentally dropped into a lump of pooh and was washed away by something that smelt like urine.

Anyhow I must go as my very long beard has caught itself in my key board.

How would they breed? However tankmates doesn't matter which sex have been known to bite toes and tails off. Seperation is the best way to fix that problem.
