Roddick. I don't think Ancic matches up too well with him. Ancic is a big server with limited movement around the court (compared with the other players on the tour; eg. Federer, Hewitt). In other words, Ancic is very similar to Roddick and that is a bad thing for Ancic because Roddick is the best at what he does (Fast points with big serving and big forehands).
Roddick has been inconsistent so far in the tournament. His serving is generally consistent but his forehand is different in every set he comes out to play and his backhand doesn't hurt the opponent (except when playing some passing shots). If Roddick faces a pacey and consistent baseliner (eg. Hewitt), he will stuggle unless he improves his groundstokes. Ancic isn't that though and I think Roddick will win.

Although Ancic is quite good, Roddick has been playing great as of late. If you would've asked me that 6 months ago I would've said Ancic, but now I think Roddick will pull it out in 3 or 4 sets.

even though Ancic is relatively sturdy, Roddick has been enjoying great as of overdue. in case you may've asked me that 6 months in the past i might've mentioned Ancic, yet now i think of Roddick will pull it out in 3 or 4 instruments.

Gotta give the edge to Roddick. He's fired up and has Jimmy Connors teaching him every trick in the book that he didn't already know. Ancic on the other hand, is relatively unknown and even though he is an up and coming talent, he is not quite good enough to beat Andy.

i think roddick will win cos he is in great form but i really,really hope ancic wins.ancic also seems in pretty good form and i hope ancic wins.i was hoping for safin to defeat roddick in that match and the referee was pretty unfair with safin cos u could actually see the water on the lines when they focussed on them. my support is for ancic.GO ANCIC!!!!!!!!
