You're either running Windows 2000 or Windows Millienium (more commonly known as WIndows ME). There's no such thing as "Windows Millenium 2000". There's also no such thing as Service Pack 4 for Windows ME - thats for Windows 2000 only.

Reading between the lines, I would guess you have Windows ME, NOT WIndows 2000. Logitech Quickcams aren't compatible with Windows ME.

If the drives are IDE drives (vast connectors which i think of they are), they could desire to be set to understand and slave. Set your XP stressful force to the grasp and your mothers to the salve. Then bypass into the BIOS and make specific your stressful force is indexed as grasp and hers because of the fact the 2nd or slave and make specific it boots from the typical hardr force first. Boot the laptop and it may boot into XP (because it is what you have on your stressful force and yours is the typical). bypass into my laptop and additionally you are able to desire to work out her stressful force sitting there somewhat thankfully the place you are able to take the information off of. it is not likely, yet once you probably did no longer floor or earth your self (via the two touching the case or utilising a grounding strap), then you definately will have given the stressful force an electric powered ask your self and killed it and if it became left rolling around in the motor vehicle and so on. in spite of if it isn't in all danger. attempt that and touch me and enable me understand if it truly works or no longer. good success. Tom EDIT: Why do you desire XP off your stressful force to place in 2000 on!?
