I am approx 24 weeks pregnant, and have been having a relativley okay pregnancy for the past few weeks, since the nasuea mostly. stopped. I am still working and lifted a box that i didnt think was too heavy, but about 5 minutes after lifting it, when i went to bend over i got sharp pains in my lower abdomin, under my belly button. I have spoken to one of the girls in work and she thinks i should go direct to ER. What do you think??

Do you think its just a twinge?? or somethig to worry about.

Any help appreciated

Call your Dr immediatly It is probably a muscle cramp or pulled ligament but it could be something more serious! A quick check by your Dr. can confirm that everything is fine and prevent you from stressing which is not good for your baby either!

You can really do a lot more than people give credit to pregnant people. It is probally just Braxton Hicks contractions. They hurt and feel like you are seriously in labor. But to be on the safe side I would go to the doctor.

These may be round ligament pains, which are a result of your ligaments stretching to accomodate your uterus. These usually start to occur in the second trimester. You should call your doctor just to be safe.

You may have pulled a ligament. I would still call my OB if I were you.
