I have a round yellowish thing between my bathroom floor and the tub. What is it and how do I get rid of it? I also have these things in my basement..I've sprayed bleach on them but they come back. They look like little spores..

Cut them off, if they are hard. Wash the area with bleach and let air dry. Then apply a sealant suitable for your surface.

Check for excess moisture. Run the bathroom fan when you shower. Same for garage, it needs ventilation, after you clean it up.

There are moisture absorbing packets you can buy at house wares stores like LNT and BBB.

Call a professional. It sounds like you have a mold issue. Don't cut them as you will certainly spread the spores, creating a more disastorous situation. Email me and I will try to get you through it.

Oh dear. Sounds like dry rot. You have a lot of expensive bills coming your way.
