Well I sure dont hear Republicans in here criticizing the "100 Hours" thing anymore. Getting 6 pieces of legislation thru in less than 2 weeks is an accomplishment any political party may be proud of. Especial since in the previous 6 years, nothing but the Patriot Act and pork barrel spending programs could get passed by the Republican "The Little Congress That Wouldn't".

As aman, I say let em run this crap, its pretty obvious we havent done such a good job. At least give em a chance, if they screw it up, then they cant bellyache anymore :D

Now that you have both Lincoln and FDR spinning in their graves, let me call to your attention the polls showing her to have an even lower approval rating then the hated and reviled George W Bush. Watch for higher gasoline and energy prices as she and her democrat buddies start fooling with the oil industry. Also expect increases in unemployment among the poor and higher prices for everything as minimum wage increases are passed on to us by the businesses that have to pay them. And the new ethics bill is all a big joke: more Washington smoke and mirrors. And al qaeda and the insurgents in Iraq are thanking Allah day and night for the aide and assistance they have received from Congress in the form of opposition to the President's get tough in Baghdad plan. Whoopee. Sorry. Not impressed yet.

Pelosi rules! We need someone like her, someone willing to take on the president. There are many people in this country that can't live on minimum wage. So all this crap about how the small businesses will hurt because of the increase is just that, crap. When people can't make ends meet, what are their options? They end up having to get government help, and who pays for that? I could go on and on about how LONG it has been since minimum wage was raised...meanwhile lawmakers have gotten their raises every year! Let's hope she can keep moving the country forward!

I don't think Lincoln would have granted exceptions to the new proposed minimum wage for an American territory because of her connections in San Francisco.
