I have had 2 house rabbits. one of them used to scream if dshe was scared or in pain, not the most pleasant sound but she got her point across. The one I have now would have more of a tendency just to get away from you if she is not happy. However you must be gentle with rabbits, yanking them will only make them unhappy and they may even growl or dig at you. The more loving you can be with them the more they are back to you.

They stiffen and crouch down. This is where they're trying to be invisible and make you go away. They're literally scared stiff.
Since it's a subtle sign, your best bet is just to be more protective of your rabbit. Your sister probably isn't up to reading his feelings yet.

Theystamp their feet if they're on the floor. However if he's being yanked about, you can bet he IS SCARED! Your parents should be stopping her. How old is your sister? If she's very young....teach her.

You can tell with their eyes. If they're really wide, he's scared. Rabbits aren't cuddly toys so you're sister definitely shouldn't be yanking him about. What she is doing is wrong.

Their ears will stand straight up, they will get very tense and the eyes will be very wide open. Tell your parents to get on her about yelling in the rabbits ear. She could cause it to go deaf. Here are some good websites for you.

their eyes look terrified, they try to run away from us and try to retard when ever we go near them, and they pulll in their legs and will turn their body uncomfortably.
but pleasze leave you sister play if she is very young, rather encourage her and tell her that
the rabbit will really love her when she pats its fur very gently and
feeds if by showing the rabit that it always her who is feeding it
even when she wants them on her lap tell her to hold the back gently
rabbits are the bet pets i have ever grown
with loads of love

I can send my ferrets in the post and they will give your rabbits a psychotic episode. That should sort it out. Whats your postcode?

you can see his heart beating, he is breathing very quick, his nose is moving all the time in a fast way.
That is what I see in my rabbit when he is scared and I think that counts for most rabbits.
