What did you do to make your neighbour want to do that? And how did you know it was four gallons of goose fat? And where do you get that much goose fat this soon after christmas...?
As for legal that would be a big goose fat covered NO. Destruction of property, antisocial behaviour, criminal damage etc. Prosecute the moron.

If i was in your position... i would take pictures of the goose fat, thorugh your letter box, then the flowers that are sellotaped.. and any other vandalism... and just put a cctv outside your house, to record him actually doing all of that... hand that in, and then he'l be in, or he'l be classed as a bad neighbour and may be asked to move or serve a community service....they ought to teach him a lesson!!...

It's criminal damage if you can prove he did it.
How did you know it was 4 gallons of goose fat? Did you measure it as it fell through your letterbox?
I reckon you did something to start of this off. Go on tell me... what did you do?

Definitely not - if you are in the UK he is probably guilty of criminal damage - and you could throw in a civil charge of trespass to boot. Do you two have a history? Just be aware that if you bring charges he may throw something back at you - but he is definitely doing something illegal here. Call the police and report it. And keep a diary and photographic/video evidence in future if possible.

Strangely enough using goose fat was legal. Any other sort of fat would have been illegal. He obviously knows what he,s doing.

LOL, you must be really making him mad, I think that's kinda funny. The Question is what did you do to him. If you can prove he did it you MAY have a case. It's not legal, but my be hard to get him in trouble for it.
