I like to read alot and I found that Matilda was really a cool but, but comming in a close second was George's Pond. Little Stewart let me down alot, i expected more from it. Charlottes Web was pretty good.
I think they are in this order for quality of story:
1. Matilda
2. George's Pond
3. Charlotte's Web
4. Little Stewart

but what do you think?

Matilda by Roald Dalh was great. I liked Charlotte Webb by E. B. White too. I think you mean Stuart Little by EB White.

I never read George's Pond.

May I recommend Whales on Stilts by M. T. Anderson?

I think I definitely like Matilda the best. I've never read George's Pond, but the other two I've read and I think I like Matilda most because it has a certain magical quality about it. Charlotte's Web was sort of magical, but you knew Charlotte was the one making the web Wilbur was getting credit for. I really love anything by Roald Dahl.

I'm assuming you mean Stuart Little also by E.B. White??? Anyway, my answer would be none of the above. Don't get me wrong. I like Charlotte's Web just fine. It would definitely stay on my list. But Trumpet of the Swans by E.B. White was a 'better' book for me than Stuart Little or Charlotte's Web. And I prefer Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Matilda...but to each his own. And I have never heard of George's Pond...and no wonder...it was published in December of 2006....at least according to Amazon...so I'll have to remain silent on that one.

I've only read two on your list, but Charlotte's Web is very high on my list of great books. Matilda is also way up there. E. B. White and Roald Dahl are great authors.

I love Roald Dahl's Matilda. The "moral" (dare to be different and stand up for what you believe in) is very much seen. It's a book for children and adults alike!
