No.
Just as you can't say all Iraqis are bad.
Attitudes, beliefs and behaviours, such as racism come from a wide range of influences. What your parents think and say and how they behave, how your peer group think and talk and how they behave, all will influence what you believe to be true.
Also a lot of it is based on fear and ignorance. It is very easy to believe that people who are not like you are somehow of lower worth, or responsible for all the bad things that happen.
The English are generally a easy going, fair minded and freedom loving people, there are those that behave in ways that make the rest of us ashamed.
It is also important to remember that we live in a democracy (unlike many of those that wish to harmus) and this means we need to debate and discuss these things openly. It is not racism to discuss whether we should (or should not) limit immigration, or to question religious doctrine and dogma - it is a democratic right and needs to be supported as so. Look at what happens in countries where you can't discuss these things openly.

Not everyone "english" is racist, but if you look back through history you will find that when English Settlers came from England that they were discriminate at first of the Indians, but some got to know them and it was ok then, but some remained the way they were. Racists are just a part of life that you have to deal with. I am not a racist and it irritates me when people have to act like that but I just deal with it. I hope that you aren't a victim of racist comments. God Bless.

I wouldn't say all English people are racist, (far too generalised) I have known people who wouldn't consider themselves racist, but have commented in the same breath that they wouldn't want a coloured family living next door, or their teenage daughter having a coloured person as a boyfriend!! Is that not racism, they didn't think so, commenting that they liked black people!!!. (Excuse the term but that was what was said) But for sure there are many who travel abroad who think they are superior to the country they are visiting, thinking it is their unargueable right that everyone should speak English and treat them as special. I've seen it countless times here in Spain, once I overheard a Brit in Spain saying "All these bloody foreigners".
To which I interupted and said..."Excuse me, you're the bloody foreigner here"
I think it goes back to times when the Brits conquered other countries like India etc, they treated the underdog appallingly and were so toffee nosed about it....and I don't think it has changed.
The UK still thinks it's separate from Europe and in not accepting other races, & cultures into the UK then in the main that is racism!

No, you can't say that English people are racist, it's too generalising. People from all countries are racist and English people are not generally more racist than others

how could a whole nation could have a united racist opinion, or any united opinion for that matter, this is a stupid question. As with every other country in the world, some of it's inhabitants have racist opinions and it is very much a small minority. the main difference is the way the media is in England

The question itself is a generalization of the English people.

"...And Darwin and his nuclear kinfolk became often used for his or her opposition of slavery and their economic generosity in direction of abolitionist motives...." honest adequate yet who's in an attempt to assert he wasn't ? enable's say Hiter says "2+2=4", does that recommend that in case you say 2+2=4, you're a Nazi ? enable's say that Jesus says that "2+2=5", does that recommend that 2+2=5 ? enable's say Einstein believed that dragons, 5 ton flying creatures that breathed hearth and roasted virgins and ate them, became real. Does that recommend that dragons are real ? a controversy is as good because it incredibly is helping information, that's to assert, it incredibly is premise, and it incredibly is logic. it truly is it. (a minimum of, i think of it truly is it. i'm no longer a school logic professor or something). the guy MAKING THE declare has no longer something do to with it. it ought to be Charles Manson or it ought to be Mahatma Gandhi. Makes no difference.
