Don't be worried! Because you have never had trama to your abdominal muscles, they are still strong and tight. You will def. be bigger the second time around because those muscles will stretch and while they'll repair, they'll never be as tightly woven as before. 4 months, the bump should be on it's way. You might just have a small baby in there, or perhaps they're off on date of conception. Point is, you have a heartbeat! Congrats and happy parenting. :)

It is okay. At 16 weeks, the baby is still pretty small. In a first pregnancy, it does take longer to start showing because your body has not yet stretched out for pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my first, I was about 5 months along before anyone could tell I was pregnant. I'm now 25 weeks pregnant with #2, and definitely had been showing much sooner this time around - now that I have been through a pregnancy, my body is already stretched for it and knows just what to do :)

I'm same, this is my second pregnancy though 16 +2 no bump for me yet sure I was much larger last time, I will get to hear heartbeat Mon hopefully. But if you remember when she put the fetal monitor on for heartbeat, it was very low down if I remember so it's still just moving above your pelvis, a nother 4 weeks and you could have a lovely bump> Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy:o)

Most women don't start to show until about 4 months with their first pregnancy. It's because your body has not been through the process of having your uterus stretched, along with the surrounding tissues. Although I got a slight pouch around 4 months, I didn't get a belly until during my 6th month. At that time it seemed like it just popped out overnight.

When I was 36 weeks pregnant I didnt even show and my baby was born healthy at 7 lbs. Sometime you just dont carry in your stomach you can gain the weight all over. So dont worry about one day your belly may just pop out or you might look in the mirror and say where that *** come from. good luck

nope, i'm 24 weeks and well...i look huge now, but 4 weeks ago u'd have never known i was pregnant! it weird, they say ur womb is so n so size...then u look @ ur belly and see no increase in size whatsoever! i just took it as an excuse to eat more...plus it was Christmas! and hey! its New Year, but cuz we lucky sods are pregnant we dnt have to do the 'will lose 2 stone this year..and keep it off' resolution! (having said that i don't think the midwife really wanted me putting on a stone since Xmas day...whoops...)

In the next couple of weeks you will definitely notice a difference........ my friend didn't look pregnant to me (nor to herself), but 3 weeks after I saw her into her 5th month, she looked like she put half a volleyball under her shirt......now at almost 7 months she has a basketball
Don't worry......& Congratulations on having a baby

oh yeah, my friend never showed anything till she was nearly 6 months pregnant, everyone is different. If the baby is growing and the midwife, or doctors have no concerns then don't worry.

At 16 weeks no one could tell I was pregnant either. Now at 20 weeks it's definitely noticable. Give it a month, you'll be amazed at the difference!
