I think he's usually right in what he says, but he's unbelievably rude about it and there's no need for it

I give him credit he says what is on his mind like it or not !!!Cowell signed a number of acts to S Records that made a mark in the pop music world, including Curiosity Killed the Cat, Sonia, 5ive, record-setting UK chart-toppers Westlife, and surprise actors-turned-singers Robson & Jerome. He also released several novelty recordings featuring the likes of wrestlers of the World Wrestling Federation, Zig and Zag and the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, that were huge successes. Cowell set up another label, Syco Records, in 2002 which later became part of Columbia Records and Sony BMG Music Entertainment. Artists such as Il Divo and contestants from The X Factor and America's Got Talent are released on Syco.

He can insult people perfectly fine, but for some reason he can't give them a good technical explanation as to what the problem is with their voice. I say get a good voice teacher/expert in as a judge.
Just because he's a record producer doesn't mean he's that bright either. When you tell someone "you sing badly," prove it to them through recordings and tell them exactly what the problem is. Don't say they sound like a whining cat, that's hardly objective. If he can't tell someone why by saying "too much vibrato, you should sing baritone instead of tenor, etc." then he's not worth my time or anyone else's.

Simon is a snot nosed, narcissistic, bully who hasn't got enough talent in one finger to judge others talent.
I wish he'd just work on that disgusting uneducated British accent he tries to pull off.
Sounds like he's some low-end eastender from "To Sir, With Love."
And by and by, how can some foreigner be allowed to judge AMERICAN TALENT?? I wish they'd get rid of SIMON with a real American judge. What a wanker!

I think he's a sadistic control freak who gets off on humiliating people on national TV. He's one of the main reasons I don't watch American Idol. (The other reason is that half of those people genuinely do not need to be on stage singing. Yikes!)

Simon is difficulty-free and he tells you what you want to hearken to. he's an astounding decide because the idols favor to hearken to the reality to guarantee that them to attempt harder. He might want to be slightly mean yet many of the idols love him and thank him for his critisism.

He definetly makes the show more fun and interesting to watch, mainly because he can be quite rude to the people who deserve it. But he does actually say what he thinks which is good. Unlike Paula who always sais "Umm... you look good tonight... not your best perfomance... you are a shining star... blah blah!"

In my opinion he is a cold hearted egotistical bastard, and why is he here making all this money by putting poor smucks down? The poor individuals are here trying to make a living doing what they love, so they aren't all terrific, but they don't need to be humiliated by this ***. He is a horrible man....
