I recently resigned from a very good company with a high salary. I had a problem with my coworkers that's why I resigned. I'm having hard time now applying for a job because of the salary I had with my previous company.. How can I justify that it's ok for me if the salary is lower than my previous?

Somebody on your position (high qualify) should not feel so insecure.
I don't think you should give all the details of why you are fine to work for a lower salary. If the offer still interest you, there might be others things on your position that you consider important too besides the salary...I would say something like... I am interested on the experience I can gain on working on your company.... The gain of experience, work environment, motivates me more than the salary, (which can not be discharged as a motivation). That's why salary has a secondary position on my work's choice. <--- This is something I would say. Good luck!
Keep it short, don't give too much details like you had resigned because of others coworkers. It can make you look like to have some kind of socializing or management problem.

If the salary is enough to pay your bills, taxes and other expenses and still have a decent amount left over, you might want to take the job. Also if the company offers a good retirement plan, health and dental benefits, that will be a plus. Just make sure the most important things in your life can be taken care of, then you can go ahead and take the job, as really high paying jobs are sometimes difficult to land back to back.

Negotiate better terms than your last job: for example, a better health plan than you previously had, less copayments to see MDS, better dental plan. less work time, more breaks, more time off, etc. Negotiate your birthday oiff, and Jan 2. Make gains In areas outside of that which you previous had to save money.

Also, remember: your personal sanity is Worth more than any job. Insanity has run amok in the workplace and you might have to switch jobs a few times to gain sanity. Also, possibly look at better hours. For example, 9-5 might involve a lot of traffic and or a long trrip in . Negotiate a work schedule, even may be an hour earlier or later which might get you to work and less time get you home. It might allow you to do something extra one day a week or even one day a month to make up the cash difference somewhere else.

Also, look at devloping a hobby which could generate some on line dough.

Ifg you focus only on the salary, you will de disappointed and feel unsuccessful. You have to shift the context of what you are earining to how srene you feel at work. Also, less work resonsibilities.

Keep a close eye on your bills. I think (like i had to do) that in its self will show you it is justified. You know the old saying. If your hungry a sandwich can look like a buffet.
I hope you will be blessed.
