Sholay 2 will be a bumper flop. RGV is a crappy film-maker. He's compromising the image of the movie by taking newcomers. No actor is interested in his cheap, 2 cents remake of a storyline that could sell only in the seventies. Abhishek Bachchan was originally meant to play the role of Veeru but dropped out. Saif Ali Khan was also offered the role but declined. South Indian actor Mohanlal will play Inspector Ranveer. Sushant Singh will play Sambha’s role. Gaurav Kapoor will essay the role of Ahmed. Ram Gopal Varma's current favourite Nisha Kothari will play Basanti. You see, using such a B-grade cast, the movie will end up nowhere. Even the poster with Amitabh Bacchan lying inebriated on a couch looks incredibly stupid. As for the only well-known actor in the movie, Amitabh Bacchan, he also acted in bombed movies like Baabul, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Darna Zaroori Hai, Family - Ties of Blood, Dil Jo Bhi Kahey..., Paheli and Ramji Londonwaley.

Sholay is the best film and after so many years sill this film is fresh in everyones mind and it is not easy to change peoples mind.and as far as i m concerened i remember all the dialouges of the film today and to erase that and see tht film its not possible i wuld not see the film but amitbh is playing gabbar so i want to see what it is going to be like.
person who makes remake has no original script so they remake the best movie but they dont understand ORIGINAL IS ALWAYS PURE

NO
definitely not
sholay cannot be re created
its aura is something that no one else can reproduce
Moreover Ramu is planning a remake with completely new stars who still have to learn the abc of acting how can they possibly match Big B and Dharmendra's style and memorable one liners that was the soul of Sholay?
Ramu should not do this as it does not suit him to change his genre
