they are not going to give you money so forget it...she cannot keep your kids away from you if you have an order for visitation....each time she denys you your visits, you take her to court for violation of the order ..it's that simple.....good luck

There can never be a price tag because no amount of money could ever compensate for lost time. Why did you wait 10yrs? And now if you have them back in your life, use your energy to get to know them again, be there for them. Don't let a bitter legal battle ruin it all over again.

First my question is why did you wait 10 years? There is no price tag on what you have lost. I think while your wife is responsible you are also partly responsible. It obviously wasn't that important to you then so why is it now? And before anyone reports me for being mean to you maybe you should think about those questions. What are your priorties?

Under what legal standard do you think you can recover? I would love to know what your attorney has told you? I have never heard of anyone recovering money for this kind of action. Please let us know if there really is any legal basis or are you just making this up in your head?

If there was court ordered visitation and you didn't pursue it, you blew it buddy. It is YOUR fault not hers. If you really did want to see those boys you would have taken her back to court and the court would have made her give you your visitation. Sounds like you had other things to do and now you are feeling like a heel and want a relationship with your kids now. Your fault. NOT hers.

sorry but there is no way to calculate that 10 years without your boys is priceless no matter how much money you get from her you will never get those years and missed memories back

Ten years away from your children is priceless!
Your lawyer should be able to come up with an actual monetary amount.
