They both don't like to take the liquid medicine. I tried to put some on their favourite veges, and it works well, but sometimes they just don't feel like having veges. Any other suggestion? I tried to cuddle them and put some into the mouth but didn't work well.. they hate the smell, they struggle!! HELP!!

Use a small syringe without the needle. I find rabbits tend to back up when trying to escape, so kneel down on the floor with your knees slightly apart and your feet crossed. Get the rabbit between your knees facing forward with you leaning over them and one hand on the back of their neck. In this position the rabbit can't back away, can't struggle and twist, (which is an issue if you're holding them) and usually won't shoot forward. Just slip the syringe in the side of their mouth and shoot. Be sure to have a treat ready and give them lots of pats afterward.

Wrap them in a towel (like a bunny Burrito) with just the head sticking out with the head in the crook of your arm and slip the dropper into the side of the mouth. Ask a Vet for a small syringe, they are sometimes easier to use than a dropper.

Horses continuously understand what drugs is. They %. up on your body language once you've the bottle on your hand. no matter how a lot you conceal it, they understand that is drugs. even no matter if that is not bitter, and although if it tastes good, they understand. If she will be in a position to no longer eat it jointly with her grain, upload some molasses. attempt leaving it in one day. She may eat it when you're not any further observing her. The syringe advice works. We do bute and some different meds with the syringe. you may purchase 10cc on the drugstore. No needles. they are going to seem at you unusual in case you ask for 60cc syringes. bypass on your vet for the vast ones. they are lubricated interior. After various makes use of, the plunger will start up to adhere. Throw it out and start up with a clean one. you may mix your glucosamine with molasses. If the consistency is somewhat skinny, you want the pointy tip that mounts the needle. If the consistency is somewhat thick, then decrease the replenish and boost the hollow. Sticky thicker is more effective perfect because they could't remove it as somewhat. Get the horse's head up, slip the syringe into the fringe of the mouth and get it as some distance lower back as you may earlier squeezing the plunger. attempt to save the horse's mouth closed till she swallows it. It facilitates if someone facilitates from the different facet. you want a halter and lead, both to secure the horse's head, and to charm to close on to so as that if the horse strikes, your hand (and expensive drugs) is going jointly with her. be careful your drugs does no longer squirt out of the syringe onto the ceiling, or by ability of the mouth onto your assistant. They understand once you're about to squeeze the plunger. they could carry drugs of their mouth for an amazingly lengthy time period. I had a granular drugs about like table salt for my mare many years in the past. I blended it jointly with her grain. interior the morning, she had picked out each of the grain, and the medication became all nonetheless interior the bucket. they are amazingly experienced at keeping apart tiny grains of drugs, and bits of grain soaked with a liquid, from clean grain. good success.

it would be easier if u had some help... wrap the bunny up in something, a blanket, towel, etc...... if u have no help, hold them under your arm........ go to your local walmart or whatever, & go to the baby dept.... got lots of kinds of med droppers & syringes there, they'd work great...... try to find one with a longer tip on it, something u can poke (gently) further into their mouth, put it against the cheek, & while holding the bunny with its head tipped slightly back (so it has to swallow) slowly squeeze meds into mouth........ good luck

Try with a small syringe - you should be able to get one without a sharp needle from your vet - or a pip-pet and feed it directly into the rabbit's mouth.
