I want rid of my yahoo account. Don't want it. How do I delete it?

you have two or three options...
1.try seraching in your account options to see if you can close the account
2. Contact the yahoo help, and ask them to shut it down completely for you
3. Leave it, do not login for about a year and it should of got deactivated....

To close your Yahoo! Mail account:
Visit the Terminating Your Yahoo! Account page.
https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user
Type your password.
Click Terminate this Account.
As far as this site, don't visit

With Yahoo, just don't use it. It will be deleted by them when it is inactive for a while. Make up a new one. Use the new email addy, and send it to people you want to know the new addy.

You can't - once you've created it, there's no getting rid of it. Maybe if you leave it long enough, Yahoo will email you & ask if you want to keep it.
