Black color is no light at all. So there are no waves there. Consequently there is no wavelength to talk about.

We see black an object when it does not reflect light. We see black a closed room when there is no ligth emitter there. Black is a subjective sensation to the absence of light.

i don't know about black, but colors of the rainbow (violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red) have a wavelength between 400 to 700 nm
black is simply the absence of color (unlike white which is the presence of all colors)

If something looks black it just means that there is no VISIBLE light there but there may be longer wavelength radiation (radio waves, microwaves, Infra-Red etc.) or shorter wavelength radiation (Ultra-Violet, X-Rays, Gamma rays etc.) so black is really anything below 400nm or above 700nm.
