If you are looking for someone exactly like you, I am here! i can't get along with my ex-boss. It was so bad that I consider changing job and start looking for a new one. But to my luck, my boss wasn't OK with his boss so eventually he resigned. lol. it might be the same situation. Your boss might not be getting along with his own boss and he's trying to throw down the anger at you. If you can't change it, don't waste time there suffering, change!

If it is a personality problem ... start actively looking for another job. Unless you have some very stronger supporters in higher places within your organization ... your not going to win the battle of personalities with your boss. Even then, you're still not likely to win.

If the clash is one based on principals and business logic ... consider the outside chance that maybe your boss is right and try things your bosses way and see if his way is better. Give it a fair shot.

If that doesn't or can't work ... bear it as best you can until you can find a new job or get transfered out of your bosses hierarchy.

It's stressful working for an horses ***.

Remember, it is ALWAYS better to look for a job while you still have one..

you should focus on your job rather than the boss.

bosses are also humans and they also have feelings.

they might show disgrunt sometimes but you must show them concern at times instead but of course with the right concern questions and answers.

learn from your mistakes and don't stray away from the correct path to enlightenment.

life is more meaningful if you have learnt the correct things in life.

but the negative and positive are on a very very thin line.

just try to relax as you move on with your job.

take a good break if possible during coffee time and have a very good sleep when it is time for sleep.

watch your diet too.

drink some water but don't drink too much.

life is like a balancing thing.

I hate it when that happens! Especially if you love your job. Do you work for an individual or a company? If you work for a company, you can go to Human Resourses and change jobs. If it's just you and the boss, you may have to look for another job.

well, you can leave - start looking for another but there's no assurance that you'll get along with your next boss.

or you can stay - you keep your job, do your best in work, but everyday you need to ignore the (personality)issues and just be a throbbing pain to your boss. ;-)

i know someone who stayed, excelled in her work... and the boss left.

find a different job. you won't win if you show your dislike plus you can damage your reputation. most people don't quit the company they work for, they quit their boss. there is no shame in this there are some real jerks out there. good luck.
