I've read that everyone asks themselves this question when they go through changes or new decisions to make in their lives. It helps most people realize how short life is, and that they are reassessing where they want to be in life.

We all want to know who we are, but we will never know it until, the end of the day , when there's no more work to do, when all the sharing and giving , and receiving stops. Free will makes us who we are, and the actions that we do everyday makes us who we are, and the people who m we let in our short lives makes us who we are. We make our own stories.
Than when you wake up one day , and see what's around you, and what has brought you there, you have a sense of who you are.

Yes cos then i wanted to take stock of my life. it led me to ask why am i here and for what purpose is my life. In the end i found out that i was created by the Creator in His image and express likeness to rule and reign in this life and that my life and my achievement should be to the Glory of His Holy Name.
to this end i had to reconcile myself to him by accepting that His son is Jesus Chrit , that he died to absolve me of all sins and that if i would accept Christ as my personal saviour then i would once again become a child of God and inherit everything pertaining to life and Godliness. Now my life makes sense i tell you!

I have never asked myself that question, but I'm sure a lot of people don't know who they really are.

Life defines itself. How you perceive individualism may make you feel like you don't have an identity but, you do.
