They are advised against marrying their first cousins cos these people and their cousins may have similar genetic composition,so if a recessive gene representing a disease is present in both,then the disease is not expressed in either of the persons,but when the same gene is passed on to the children,the disease gets expressed in the kids,eg. mental retardation.

Well first of all, that is Sick. many people find other woman/men attractive, whoever you are, that is not the brightest thing you ever do. i like this girl and she isnt my cousin, she is very beautiful too. ofcourse, if you have been told, your child WILL BE deformed, just because you want to get in bed with your cousin. Man, there are many other people out there that you will find attractive, LOOK FOR THEM, dont sit back and try your cousin, NOT GONNA HAPPEN, dont do that, be Smart.

You know thats bullshit.. I have married my first cousin and we have a beautiful, healthy and intellegent 3yr old.
Ya, some ppl can have sex with their step parents and thats not wrong???
Its ok in muslim and hindu religion so I don't see what the problem is

Because it's nasty! They're BLOOD relatives.Their babies could be born with genetic abnormalities. Of all the attractive people in the world, that are NOT RELATED to you, why would anyone want to be with relatives?
