Actually i think Men gossip more than women do. Being a man, I would know this. In the workplace i've noticed that men tend to gossip a heck of alot more than the women do. Why i don't know, but they never seem to shut up when talking about other people or events. Women on the other hand gossip to but spend most of thier time talking about other things.

Women don't love to gossip in particular, they just love to talk and talk and talk and moreover talk their thoughts out with their friends. The truth is that women gossip in general while men are doing very mean and bad criticism in reality. The most mean things I have heard come from mens gossip and not women.

It doesn't mean that only the women love to gossip;also the men.
Only the gossips of men lead to a lot of problems. Because, women do it for fun.

Just see the TV show Bigg Boss (India) on Sony Channel & then in future you will never ask this Question .... ""Because in that Reality show, u will find that women do gossiping but for a limit.... BUT Men .... They just gossiping.... gossiping ... & gossiping....

women gossip so they can feel good about themselves, when seeing the faults of others, they don't have to look at their own problems, just a way of avoiding ones own problems, by focusing on what others are doing.just a way of feeling superior over others by gossiping about what the other guy is doing, unable to see that they may have some area in their own lives they need to attend to.

I really don't know. Me personally I hate gossip. Why talk about others and waste your time. That is why I liking hanging out with men.

well this one actually has an explanation, long ago in the "caveman days" the men and th women pretty much stayed apart right? well the man would go out hunting and the women would stay behind gathering berries, taking care of the babys and things like that, well thats gets boring so they started to talk, and they did so all the time, the men didn't learn to talk till later cuz they had no need for it, cuz you gotta be quiet to hunt, so its just a natural thing for girls to do it.
