Has been reported that Londoners are starting to sniff snuff in the run up to the smoking ban

Talk about history repeating itself. Snuff sniffers will be going back to a habit that was the thing a couple hindered or so years ago.
I think we might want to begin selling snuff boxes and capitalise on the trend.

Keep your snuff fresh before you sniff it up!

Actually that would be a RETURN to sniffing snuff. Snuff was used among the Cultural Elite for Centuries before the advent of the cigarette.

the smoking ban here in italy has been in effect for over 2 years now.
people still smoke just outside...
it's quite funny when i go to the local bar to watch the football how the bar empties at half time for eveyone to go and have a smoke..
if people are willing to pay over £5 a packet for cigs having to go outside when at the pub won't make more people stop..
