Sex is one way to express your love for one another, but it's not the only way, and it's not vital in a relationship. Whether a relationship will survive is a different matter. It depends on how much importance both people place on sex.

I was reading an article the other day about how many partners do not have sex...It was about straight couples..but it could be about gays, as well. Sex isn't the only reason people stay together..I was ill for 2 years and pretty well unable to have much in the way of sex...we survived it.

I'm a Christian, and before marriage, I'm counting on a guy who will survive without asking for sex, but after we get married... I have no idea. The thing is, sex should be used to strengthen a relationship, not make it last...

It can, but often there are concessions made, like discreet affairs, or threesomes. I think a relationship without sex would be kind of dismal. I also believe that we stay in relationships for fear of being alone sometimes.

it depends:if sex is part of the obligations e.g in marriage then that marriage will struggle without sex.but in a general family setting, i dont see siblings fighting because of a lack of it.
