And need to move because I do too much travelling, are theer any student paces that let you stay for more than just a few months?I found a place but it was too much as you have to pay for internet connection as well, I dont know what to do all this travelling is starting to get to me.As in halls of residence they only allow you to stay for a few months!And if I put my name back on the council list it will take too long.

you don't say where you have to travel from/to or where/who you are living with. Would a house share be viable? Or could you rent a room in a house during the week and go home at weekends. Have you asked your student accomodation office if they have a list of people who just rent a room out in theri haouse and provide you with breakfast and supper for a fixed amount.

Why don't you ask around. I am sure you aren't the only one in that situation. It is dangerous though when you don't know people. You'll have to ask lecturers etc about them and maybe get references
