...that if you do good things, the people who you encounter will be more likely to do good things themselves which will ultimately come back to you.

What do you think?

this kind of stuff sounds nice and is an idealistic view and will really work well only if you want to live within a limited group of people. But in reality, we always have to deal with dishonesty, anger, hatred, jealousy, etc. There are times when we may have to abandon the path of goodness for the sake of survival and fairness. This can sometimes be justified.

Things like this do happen and in some cases not. But I do believe that if we do good things, we will be gifted a deed from someone else as good as the good things we have done. And I do believe that the people around us will change for the better and do good things as well and it will all come back to us, good or bad, because God is always watching our actions.

It's a very optimistic outlook, C.

The only problem I see is that you're giving a LOT of good in the hope of receiving a little back. Seems more profitable to give that good to the people that you know will give a guaranteed return. In other words, don't neglect your friends and family by worrying about the rest of the world too much.

I think Karma is Karma. Its not a police force or a reward/punishment system.

People doing good things for you and you for them is more of a matter of perspective. Some people are rude (thinking you are using action to tell them they are weaker in some way) when you open a door for them, others (thinking that its a kind gesture) are thankful. The rude people also don't open doors whereas kind people do it all the time.

Ah, karma. I don't necessarily believe it that way, but I believe that people who do good, feel good. So even if bad things happen to them, they shrug it off and it isn't a big deal. People who do bad are constantly watching out and make something that isn't a big deal into a big deal. I believe that it's a psychological connection between what they do and how that affects their thinking.

I agree. It's the rule of 3, know that anything you do, will come back 3 fold to you.

Close. I believe that regardless of behavior, what you think about most and expect, feel is most true in your heart and intend, will always put forth it's manifestation to attract to you. So usually if you're doing bad you're thinking negatively and thus negative is attracted. If you're doing good you're thinking positively, and thus good is attracted. http://youtube.com/watch?v=csiAsbPxmmY

I wanted to believe in this...but life shows that this is not at all like this. Poeple are vety different, and you you do good things, it doesn't mean that others will do the same, EVERY ONE HAVE HIS ONE PROFIT...
