I guess there have been many lately but the one that stands out is from my husband. His 16 yr old son got into trouble with the law and we were walking into the juvenile facility since that is where they took him and he as we walked through the door he said- "Gee, I never thought I would have to do this for one of my kids-I always thought it would be your son!!!!" My SON graduated for U of Michigan with a Physics degree and is now going for a PH D in NY. He was never in any trouble. That really threw me for a loop and made me feel WOW! That was 2 mos ago and it is not forgotten-like a thump in the gut. That did it for me, just for him to even verbalize something like that at that moment.

Sweets,A friend who I love very much ,told me he didn't respect me anymore because I was to sensitive and woman my age 33 should not be so sensitive...I admit I am sensitive because I do wear my emotions on my sleeves ,but to say you don't respect me blew the wind out of my sails and broke my heart...and I love this friend with so much kindness and love that it took my breath away for a minute....since this remark my friend has apologized, because they realized many of my sensitivities run along side of my work.which can make for some heavy emotional times....luv kara

I got asked if I was pregnant again. Although my second child is nearly one, I haven't quite lost the weight. So it's kind of a touchy subject.

my husband... i'm a girl that loves cars, but i'm no expert... I asked him a question about MPH (we're KMH) and he was mad that he had to explain it to me...

I felt pretty dumb... and I thought I knew more than the average 'girl' (sorry ladies no insult honest).

I was pretty deflated after that.... it happens alot. You think he'd be proud his girl wants to know as much about cars as he does...

He asked me why I was mad. Apparently, I put this angry expression in my face and I usually am not aware i'm doing it.
