Certainly not in the case of capital punishment. Hanging Saddam Hussein and his co-accused in that gruesome and sadistic manner has not brought any tangible relief to those they were supposed to have wronged. Better to have kept them in a "prison zoo", where their victims could pay visits and take a look at the "human monsters" in their cages. That would have been a far "sweeter revenge" than hanging or decapitation or lethal injection or electrocution or firing squad or whatever other method. The 21st century must get rid of this barbaric practice.

Yes 2 wrongs make a right, on both sides they think they are right. But Two Wongs don't make a White? ha ha old joke.
So guess what? What does this mean anyway? There is no right or wrong if we do not know what you are talking about?

No - they cancel each other out, giving the feeling that there is now nothing wrong, which is where the saying 2 wrongs make a right stems from.

No. Think it may be called Revenge or Retaliation at best.

In the extreme that would be like saying would it be right to kill a child because some one killed yours.

Both children are innocent and both wrong doers would be punishable by law.

Two negatives make a positive.

In math.

But in reality, nopes. Not at all. But it might make you feel better, though at the end of the day, you're no better than the first wrong-doer.

Two wrongs never make a right, life and human relationships are not the same as maths, where two negatives make a positive.
When we have problems we need to work them out, not just lash out.
