would you be able to handle living in another generation
are you humane enough to have lived in the 60's and 70's when it was not just party hardy it was a time of loving everyone caring for every human
or do you have the work ethics and back bone to have lived in the 1800's when there were no lights or running water and you had to hunt your dinner and garden and work very hard and suffer horrificly

suppose someone poses a question to our forefathers like" do you have the guts to live in a world which is developed in science and technology, has all the amenities of life, but a bomb may drop on you anytimeor a war maybreak out anytimeand you may die"? how would they have had responded? i guess they would have preferred to love everyone and care fro everyone. The may say" give me 1800s anytime". yup looking at it i feel there is a grandeur in that view of life(courtsey Saturday by mcewan)
