Has anyone noticed that the girl in napolean dynamite is the little girl in waterworld?

I havnet imdbed this yet, but the actress looks like a dead ringer for the little firl, just about 10 (?) years older. I just noticed this the other day so can anyone check this for me?

Yes, she's one and the same. It struck me that she looked familiar as I was watching Napoleon, so I looked up her filmography and verified it.
