i live in Germany and last night the storm got us here are 11 people killed.i agree with you its a sad world when other things are more important then human life.

Bless you, it's nice to know someone out there cares about real things. We should all be doing more to prevent global warming, as this was suggested to be one of the factors for the severe weather we seem to be having. It's a shame no-one seems to take environmental issues as seriously as a program about self-centred people. I haven't even watched 30 seconds of that program, yet I know all about it because it's the main talking point on most other programs and in the papers. When will people grow up?

what sort of Q's can we ask about a storm? I know what you are saying but you have just added to the BB debate. There are tragedies happening all over the world every day of the week but yahoo answers is not the place to discus them.

I must say that I do want to keep up to date with the going ons in the house but...damn! Its like a national epidemic that just won't go away....I mean its got crazy when my mum and my psychology lecturer start to update me on Jade Goody

Well said pal it really is quite a sad dire state of affairs when we,re more interested in bloody Jade n slipper or whatever her name is when we are losing people left right and centre due to severe storms ect

It just goes to show how the instant fame culture is ruling our lives. Nobody cares when "ordinary" people die because so-called "celebrities" are bickering on Big Brother.

I cant agree with you more. I have already mentioned this the other day, and now nearly every Question is the same. My sympathy goes out to all those bereaved and injured.

maybe we can build a giant dome over england to stop the wind.
or
should we all live underground to avoid the weather, (but then we might drown from floods) dammit!
