i say go for the best deal. i dont even play the 20th fret and i have been playing over 10 years. if you play progressive rock ad there is a much beeter deal for less frets, go for that. if not, get the 22 or even a 24

Here's a good quality guitar for beginners. The Behringer V-tone Electric Guitar. It comes with a Guitar amplifier, 3 picks, strap, gig bag and instrument cable.

I have one myself and I highly recommend it to you. Its price is reasonable enough if you have a tight budget. Its only $100 in www.musiciansfriend.com

check www.behringer.com for their other guitar model the El Toro which also costs as much the V-tone.
