and i keep getting this really weird dull pain near my pubic area. i was having back pains last night that reached around my right side and then to my front low abdimin area. does any one have any good answers on what this might mean i have an appt. witg my midwife later this after noon.

Ligaments stretching, the baby moving. If your baby is already engaged into your pevis, head movements could cause pain if the baby presses on an area too hard. It sounds like normal pregnancy stuff. At least you are to the three weeks or less stage!

I am also 39 weeks and can't figure out what's going on with this alien body of mine, I do hope for your sake it's the beginning of labor, as I know how uncomfortable you are right now.

It sounds like you're having mild contractions. If they start coming more frequently, then call your midwife.
