We're prepared for about a week only with food and about 3 or 4 days with water. Limited medical supplies if we needed them. We live walking distance from the grocery store, banks and pharmacy though.

But In case of a war or something.... I think people would just fall into survival mode and brake into stores for supplies and such.

Would you have 12 hours notice if a tree were to fall on the electric lines leading to your house/neighborhood?
This is a good question for people to think about.
We usually stock up starting in the fall, and have plenty of canned goods that we could survive on for about 3 weeks or longer

Liberals could live off of fried aborted fetuses.Or ask the government to pay to have services restored for them. Or spend their days screaming Bush sucks . Because they are full of hate. They would blame him for their cut services.

i should know about 12hours in advance before any such calamity should happen but to answer your hypothetical question i dont think anyone really would have enough supplies for 30 days in such peaceful and uneventful times. you must be really paranoid to want to do that, i think
