I LOVED it!!! It was hilarious and I can't wait for the DVD. People think he's being racist but the joke is not on Kazakhstan, the joke is on people who can believe that the Kazakhstan in the movie exists -- who believe that there's a country where homosexuals wear blue hats and the women live in cages and they drink fermented horse urine and the age of consent has been raised to nine years old.

I saw this movie in America once and in a theatre in Germany once. The Americans laughed at it more. I wonder if Americans think of how big of a movie this has been around the world.... doesn't make us look too good. I found it funny, but it makes me sad that it makes American look so stupid.... I've heard foreigners talk about Americans many a time... for the most part they in fact think we're idiots. This movie goes ahead and afirms it for them.

Brilliant! Not for the special effects or storyline, but for the fact that there was practically no script and no second takes. Borat is not discriminatory - he dishes out the abuse to all and sundry in equal rations! The only question is: where will he go next? I think Ireland would be hillarious......

I thought it was hilarious.
Best movie I've ever seen personally.
But yeah I can see that it would be highly offensive to some people.

Very original and funny. He did rip on Jewish people a lot, but he is Jewish, so I guess he can.
