All countries go through some form of ridicule and disdain from other countries. America has set itself up for this because we opened ourselves up to the rest of the world in good faith and with an attitude of freedom and justice. Anytime you help anyone in this day there is someone who will complain. America is a great country and I am proud to be a citizen of America.
Lee Greenwood says it best in his song:
" I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free and I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me and I'd gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today 'cause there ain't no doubt I love this land GOD BLESS THE USA."

I'm VERY proud to be who I am and have what I have in America. For all those that look on with "disdain" are also wishing they had my life.

I am very proud. I can do what I want, I can worship who I want, without fear of the government or anyone else. I pay my taxes, and give to my church. My taxes and tithes feed the world and frees slaves. We have saved the world twice now-and they spit on us. Just because the rest looks down on us does not mean that the world is right. All Europeans hate us, but their governments are pleading with us to save them from Islam.
What if we treated the rest of the world as it treats us?

in italy now most of the people hate us now.... cuz we're opening a new airforce base........ i've had to stay home from school cuz the communists have threathening me........they want me to go back to the states.. they say we bring war..... they said that if i go to school they'll assault me.....................
but i'm proud of being an american..... i luv USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
