I am 40, and just heard a song from the Isley Brothers "That Lady" that just brought back some very fond memories of my childhood. The 70's were very fun times for me, although I grew up in a public housing authority I still consider those days to be so fun. I have since moved on to a much better lifestyle and very much improved living conditions but those songs from the 70's always bring back such pleasant smiles and at times tears of joy. Please share a song or two and a memory it brings to you. AFROS and BELLBOTTOMS ROCK!!!

well - ok - I am a bit older than you but in 1974 I was a college grad and put a pack on my back and toured the world.. In Bangkok, in the hotel lobby, everytime I walked through they were playing "Sundown" by Gordon lightfoot - and though not a fav of mine, that time of life, the place - whenever I hear that song it carries back to that moment in time... and I am glad to hear that you have improved your lifestyle, not sure why, but I feel proud for you, I just love to hear when people are doing great - - and my life too is terrific and I am now an early retiree in Thailand.. best to you..

I grew up when Elvis was just coming on the National scene. So my music is mostly from the late 50's to the end of the 70's. Some of my favorites songs from that era are Knights in White Satin by the The Moody Blues, White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane, Saturday in the Park by Chicago(my favorite group), Hotel California by The Eagles, almost everything from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. And a lot more.

I am 40 too but the 80's seem to bring back more memories for me. I loved Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield. It reminds me of my first teen crush and how I got to dance with him to that song.
