A beautiful day for me is sharing it with the people who mean the most to me. Just enjoying time together, laughing, eating, playing games and generally making them happy. Every day is beautiful for me when I wake up and see my son smiling and hear him say the cure all words 'I love you Mummy'.

At the beginning of the day I usually write on a 3x5 card what I plan to do the whole day including the time for each activity. At the end of the day I look at the card and if I completed everything, I go to sleep happy.
NOTE: I don't allow other people or circumstances to determine whether I have a beautiful day or not. I plan my actions for the day and hold myself responsible for the outcome.

Blue skies, a warm breeze. Walking in the country or down the beach with my girlfriend and my faithful pooch. Getting home, putting a duck in the oven, meeting with friends in the pub, chatting about nothing, nice meal and a bottle of fizzy wine, then out to the theatre or my friends art gallery. Back to home, nice big hot chocolate or coffee.
As long as everyone around me is happy, I'm happy.

A day well spent is seeing all my Family and friends in one day going unlimited shopping with the girls and having a perfect quiet night in with my man cuddling on the sofa watching our TV!

Not having to go to work, doing what me and my partner both like to do, going out shopping and having lunch and a pint in the local irish pub. Cooking some nice meals and a bottle of wine to drink with it.
