NO, the weather is too unpredictable. Heat is an element the athletes need to adjust to and it is one of the tests of great champions...that's why it's a grand slam.

No , it should not.The autumn time is when the tennis season is in full swing the preparations for the US Open and Masters Cup and WTA Championships are also underway. But yeah , players have loads of problems due to the heat. The best thing would be to shift it to end of February or March.Cause the French Open is the next Slam & its far away , (its in May).If the Australian Open is held in March , it would also mean a greater offseason for players .That would leave them well rested for the new season , and we fans would get to see better quality play!

I don't know about Autumn, because of the tune up tournaments before the U.S. Open. Maybe scoot the Australian Open down a along with the French open, but then that would be closer to Wimbledom. I think stick with the heat index rule but if a match begins and is in progress such as the Sharapova and Pin match and it approaches 100 degrees, they should be able to close the roof being if the stadium has access to that technology. It would be like a rain delay, but shorter.

No, I do not think it necessary to change the Australian Open date. However, once the Us Open series and Grand Slam have finished, It would be better not to have any tournaments before the end of December. Thus giving players a longer off season. Time to rejuvinate and prepare for Australia's hot summer. This is a test for the real Champion!.

I think it should be held in March rather than autumn. Or maybe in February at the very least.
