There are only 2 things that are essential for a great honeymoon:
1) A comfortable place to be alone together without interruptions.
2) Getting away from distractions like family, housework, cooking, kids, computers, cell phones, etc.
So, ask friends or search the web (see links below) for a bed & breakfast inn in a nice setting within easy driving distance. Make sure you can order meals in or there are places to eat nearby, preferably within walking distance.
Then enjoy the time together you have now and plan a long spectacular honeymoon for a year or two later. P.S. leave the laptop at home and turn cell phones off except if you're calling out (family & friends only, no work calls!)

Camping and hiking. My wife and I do that for relaxation and recreation several times a year. We can do a weekend for less than $50 including food, campsite rental, and gas to get there. What's your budget?
On our honeymoon, though, we took a whole week and went to an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. That was $3000 including airfare.

Bed and Breakfast near by your area can be a nice little get away...then check out local restaurants and things to see-but you might spend most of the time in bed.
