Do you think it decreases your intelligence in the long run or cause other problems?

I felt that it made me think a lot more about things, and think much deeper about things. But the problem was afterwards you kind of forget what you had been thinking when you were high. any thoughts?

also I think homegrown is much better then chemically treated artificial commercial kind, any comments as well?

I know people of around 60 who smoked all their lives and had no issues at all. I also know a guy of 29 who went totally ballistic. It depends on how stable you are I guess.

About your second statement: 'I felt that it made me think a lot more about things, and think much deeper about things.'; I think a lot of this is perception. Write these thoughts down as you have them and look at them when you are sober. I promise you that these ramblings will seem a lot less profound.

"I think homegrown is much better then chemically treated artificial commercial kind"

better is subjective, I can say it will be a lot milder, also 'chemically treated', is, well, a bit of a misnomer. Yes, chemicals are added to the water. But these are simply higher concentrations of the very same chemicals you will find in soil/water. Why higher? Well, when you are growing with lights you are effectively increasing the amount of sun a plant gets. Thus is uses more nutrients. Therefore the supplements.

In response to the last part of your question first, cannabis, like anything else you consume, is best when it is as natural and/or organic as possible. If you care enough about your body to work out, then you will not want to consume anything that has a lot of extra chemicals and fillers in it. What goes for cannabis goes for meats and veges too: go organic.

Decades of research at this point have clearly demonstrated what Big Pharma and their lackey, the US government, don't want you to know: cannabis is a healer, an inspirer, and a rejuvenator. It will harm neither your body nor your mind. The only caution being that if you are altered, you may harm yourself if you do anything so stupid as drive while under the influence or consume foods that aren't good for you. Most research suggests that the only folks who shouldn't use cannabis are minors and schizophrenics. Otherwise, it appears to well tolerated by pretty much everyone else.

If you find yourself overflowing with creativity while altered, get yourself a notebook and, to the best of your ability, write down your thoughts. While the mind has a way of coming up with much crap during these moments of illumination, if you do this often enough, you will occasionally find pure nuggets of gold.

Namaste.

I smoked every day for twelve years without any mental problems. After a heavy smokin' session the night before I would wake up a bit 'thick headed' but by the time I got to work that was gone. It had to be. I had a really high preasure job. I have smoked weed with lawyers, doctors, policemen, politicians and very sucessfull businessmen (amongst others) and they are all doing well. The only side-effect I didn't like was instead of being more productive in my free time, I'd often spend time on the couch playing Playstation instead.
Homegrow is the only way to go!

I think it differs from person to person, the Alcohol will do much more damage to brain cells but Cannabis can cause short term memory loss. Smoking Cannabis for a few months shouldn't be a problem although i wouldn't advise smoking whilst you are studying. (IMO)

for the first couple of years it made me happy giggly and oh so hungry i though alot about things and alsways came up with master plans as years went on i started onto other things evrytime i smoked it i got really paranoid and my thoughts became really intence i though all my freinds and family even strangers were out to get me and everyone was always making fun of me behind my back and always thought about past events and thought they didnt just happen but that the people ho were around me at the time made it happen i also started to faint alot too since i started feeling that way i stopped smoking it immediatly and i refuse to ever smoke it again i sont mind if ppl around me smoke in fact i enjoy when ppl around me are stoned i just cant be there wen they are actually puffing coz im scared to get "high of the fumes" lol
i also think that yes it does decrease ur intelligince if u smoke it often enough i used to be really smart and had alot of potential then i found pot and everything else and gave up on education and my intelligence decreased DRAMATICALLY in the long run i think it causes paranioa and schizophrenia i got the paranoia coz now it occasionaly happens and i dont smoke anymore wheras other long term smokers i know have schizophrenia and 1 person i know even has agrophobia because of it.
as for home grown or chemically treated i agree with you homegrown is MUCH better.

I think you might be high, you asked like 3 questions. It's made me pretty easy going and I don't mean I'm lazy, just really chill. If you're having trouble remembering your thoughts try writing them down, if not to help you out at least for entertainment later on. And my homegrown is better than any chemically treated or medicinal strain.

I ws a very heavy user years ago, and as far as I can tell it has not had an effect on me. The only thing I didn't like about it was when I was "high" and went to make a beer run, going to the store about 3 miles away seemed like it took 2 hours to get there. Time slowed down to a crawl.

I don't think that smoking cannabis decreases intelligence in the long run. The best example of that are the Hippies. Many of them went on to become professionals. They didn't end up as "burnouts".

Been toking for 26 yrs now, and certainly dont think that it decreases intelligence, in fact, it makes one think more deeply, as if it "opens a door", to higher thought, (think Rasta's Shivites etc.).
Why don't you keep a little note book near you, and write down your thoughts when they come ? I have done that in the past, its quite interesting.
As for home-grown, I have some at the moment and it is so nice...a really good vibe! Always keep it natural... Nature knows best !
Keep on toking.....

um it made me more paranoid about things so i had to stop, but i could have made me think abstractly about tough subjects, i do have a different view on the world to most people i dont know if that was caused by the weed. now if i spend too long with my stoner friends in a unventilated room i get really cold and start twitching and shaking.
