I think it is a human tendency to focus and emphasize more on the bad than the good. We place more emphasis on bad things that occure around us. Granted there have been some horrific events that have happened to our world and there will most likely be more in the future, but i place my faith in that we as mankind our trying our best and in the end will come out better than worse. Through experience comes knowledge and through knowledge comes change.

Good Question...But I think as we (mankind),has progressed over the relatively short time here on this planet. We have made ourselves the Masters of this planet. As the universal clock has ticked by,the space we occupy and the time it has taken us to achieve planet dominance is getting shorter and smaller. We have achieved more in the last 50 years than we have achieved in all the time since man has started recording time. Keep extropolating that, and it appears the end is quite near. So, I think it is getting worse for us. (mankind). And if we would like to be remembered amungst the Cosmos as being a decent race of beings,and leave a mark that will be remembered instead of quickly forgotten. We better get our S- - T together.

I think it is getting worse, but in some ways it could be getting better, it just isn't evident at this time. We are at a cross roads, now, and it could go either way! I hope that it goes the right way, but that will depend upon how many people wake up, and whether they wake up in time!!!! There are bad people doing bad things and they must be stopped, before it gets to the point where they are no longer stoppable. Lets get rid of the Federal Reserve and the IRS and take our country back, and our freedoms back!!!

I think mankind is still doing well, however we cannot say the same for environment. ( deforestation and endangered or extinct species) If we look at the population it appears that we are still increasing in number so no worry there!
