People often say that if a woman is pressured into sex by a man, she was raped. If a man was pressured into sex by a woman, was he raped?

It's exactly the same either way, but the "rape" tag is a grey area here, whether it's a male or female who's being pressured, or a male or female who's doing the pressuring. Both sexes can be manipulative when it comes to this, and both can be manipulated. However, if a "yes" is given, it really isn't rape, even if, ultimately, the male or female didn't want sex. I HAVE heard men confess that they were pressured into sex with a women (or a girl if they were younger) and I know that it DOES happen. But, again, in either case, if ultimately, consent was given, it cannot be construed as rape. If consent was not given, and the female does not give up, and ultimately "does it" anyway, then yes, it is. Whether "consent" was given or not, it is wrong for a male OR female to do this, and we should educate boys AND girls about the how wrong it is.
And an erection is a physiological response that often has nothing to with the male's state of mind. A man can become aroused purely by physical stimulation, even if he doesn't really "want" sex, even if he is terrified. Often, men who have gone through this feel mortified that their bodies "betrayed" them in this manner, and it often leads them to believe they were not raped at all. It is the same for women who have an orgasm during rape. It is a purely physiological response, yet they also feel betrayed, confused and horrified, and wonder how their bodies could have reacted in such a way, and against their will.

Yes! If a man does not give consent or is not a condition to give consent (for example, if he is drugged), it is rape. I have known men who have been raped in this manner and they have had to get counseling. It is rare for women to rape men, since it requires an erection from the victim, but it DOES occur.

Unfortunately, most men opt not to report these rapes due to a strong sense of shame. They are often of the misteken belief that a woman cannot rape a man, and so they blame themselves even though it was not their fault.

It's not about being pressured into it. If a woman or a man says no, and is forced to have sex anyway (physically forced) then it is rape.

Did you say NO !!!!
you cant rape a man if his ding dong is saying yes.

A man can also say no if he don't want sex , it's not like in a woman that is being force and held down against her will.

Now if it was man to man yes its rape, but not woman to men.

May be taken advantage of but Raped come on.
If you say no but you stay till you got hard, then you really didn't mine did you.

If you were terrified or didn't want sex would you be able to get an erection? I don't think so. so obviously the pressure wasn't forcible. Women who are raped are not "pressured" they're forced or drugged or mental incapable of making that decision.

No. Absolutely not. A man can be raped by another man, not by a woman. What you call rape, would be seduction.

It doesn't matter what idiots "often say". Women who are pressured into sex are NOT raped. Rape is a psychical act of violence--taking sex by force. Rape is not coersion.

adults who are verbally pressured into sex are weak willed, children and very young people who are verbally pressured into sex are trying to please the other person the way they think they have too.
