S and V in OBSERVATION as S..V is also same in alphabet S..V.
In the word it is S, e, r then V and in the alphabet, S, t , u then V.

in PRACTICE, it is P and T.
In the word also, P then 3 letters then T and in the alphabet, P, three letters and T.
Got it?

1.OBSERVATION
The combination pairs are: b,i; s,v;
2.PRACTICE
The pair is: p,t;
Just observation. Write all the letters in their natural order, find the letters between any selected letter and the 9th letter (in question 1) and 6th letter (in question 2) following it in the alphabet.

Huh? I don't even understand the question, and I do logic problems and math problems all the time!

Okay, I get it now. The word TIN instead of IN in the second one really threw me! Now I'm too pooped to try.
